AZA International Short Film Festival 2009
The third international short-film festival of Thessaloniki,Greece will take place from Sept 23-30 and due to its great success in 2008 will be again part of the prestigious DIMITRIA Arts Festival of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the second biggest Arts Festival in Greece.
A selection of the impressive best short-films from the first two AZA festivals were shown at special screenings at the LISBON FILM Festival in Lisbon and Porto, in Athens, in Patras Intern.Film Festival, the FILM ACADEMY and the 56th Belgrade Short-Film & Documentary Festival, Sebia.
Films for the 2009 festival must be submitted by July 31,2009, on 2 dvds plus photos of director and two photos from the film to :

Films should be up to 20min.long and although the festival concentrates on fiction films we are flexible to accept documentaries and animation films of exceptional quality!
Films shot with cell-phones are especially welcome!
