Mission and goals

The International Human Rights Film Festival of Paris strives to promote and showcase some of the best international documentary films made each year on human rights issues. Each screening is followed by a Q&A session with the audience.

How to submit a film ?
Please fill in the required fields through the online submission form by clicking below:

Submission information

> The festival screens only documentary films.

> The Documentary Features must have a total run time over 45 minutes.

> The Documentary Shorts must have a total run time under 45 minutes.

> All films entered must have been produced after January 1st, 2011.

> The submission is free of charge through this website.

> The submission deadline is August 1st, 2012.

We will contact you if we are interested in receiving a DVD copy of your film. Unsolicited DVDs sent to our office will be discarded without exception. If your film is considered for the festival, be advised that we do not return DVDs. We will contact the filmmakers whose films have been selected to participate in the festival.

You can also submit your film (10€) through Withoutabox.com, until August 31st, 2012.

We will announce the FIFDH Paris 2013 selection around January 1st, 2013.
