III International Film Festival of L’Aquila/Italy

III International Film Festival of L’Aquila
INTERNATIONAL WORKS 2009
The Cultural Association “L’Idea di Clèves” publishes a contest about the production of cinematographic works with free theme.
This Contest belongs to the International Festival of L’Aquila, and it will take place from 30th November to 3rd December 2009.

RULES:
1. Subject is free; This festival is reserved to movies produced after 1st January 2008
2. There are two sections: international short films, that shouldn’t be over 20’; international works, for movies over 20’
3. Movies that last from 20’ to 30’ could be moved in short film section, in agree with the author
4. Every work will be seen and selected by a technical jury
5. Each author can’t subscribe more than two works
6. A technical jury will assign, with an unquestionable assessment the following prizes:
- 700 Eur, for the best short movie
- 700 Eur, for the best international work
- 300 Eur, for the best animation (independently from its length)
- Mention for the best actor (independently from the length of the movie)
7. L’Idea di Cléves has established a further bonus of 100 Eur for the italian
winners who will be present on the Award ceremony, of 200 Eur for the EU
winners who will be present on the Award ceremony, of 300 Eur for extra-EU winners who will be present on the Award ceremony.
8. Various representatives of distribution and production Italian societies will take part at the Festival
9. Every work should be sent in DVD format, enclosing with the subscription form available on http://www.cleves.it; subtitled works (in Italian or in English) that
have not subtitles in a separated track, need the .srt subtitle file (or another equivalent format)
10. It’s possible to send the shorts until 15th July 2009
11. The parcel should be sent to:

Vascarella, 11 – Preturo 67100 L’Aquila (AQ) - Italy
12. The parcel MUST contain:
- Dvd movie;
- Subscription form drawn up in every part;
- .srt subtitle file (or equivalent) when necessary;
- At least one .jpg image of the movie and a short synopsis in .txt file for the
catalogue
- A copy of a personal document (i.e. passport, driving license, etc)
13.Works won’t give back but will enter into possession of the C.A. for no
commercial purpose

15. Subscription is free
16. “L’Idea di Clèves” is not responsible for possible damages or loses
17. Participation involves the acceptance of these rules
