Introduction
In the present time there are about 120 active video festivals around the world, demonstrating the growing interest that this type of artistic medium has given to artistic communities. More or less turned to video art, documentary film, video performance, video dance, or more recently, interactive video, this was not lost on the artistic direction of the Festival FONLAD. With a growing number of participants – greatly outweigh the other areas of the festival – its artistic direction decided to bet more and more support on video, in the format of standard projection sessions scheduled, integrated into the main exhibition, or as recently, in its own facilities integrated into other events or festivals.
